WELCOME to the Mendon Cottage Library, located in a cottage on main street, where we checked out our first book in October of 2005 You are invited to visit the library Tuesday through Saturday, from 2p.m. through 6p.m. On Wednesday we have a little longer day: the library is open from 11am till 6pm AND STORY TIME is held from 11a.m. till noon: THIS SUMMER Two groups meet: 1-The Toddlers {through 3 years old,} meet at the Station { across the street from the Library} and 2- The Older group {4 years and up} meets in the library back garden. ARE YOU READY FOR PIONEER DAY celebration on the 26th of July, in Mendon, this year? You are invited to join with MENDON COTTAGE LIBRARY as we hold our third annual BOOK SALE, in front of the Library beginning at 8 a.m. and throughout the day on the 26th, in front of the Library. There will be a Silent Auction there, as well, AND don’t miss the BIG AUCTION AT 7 PM.

THE LIBRARY’s THIRD ANNUAL SUMMER READING CONTEST started June 4th. Signups began Wednesday at 11am, but you may sign up anytime now till July 23rd. And the contest will run through August 9 th, this year. REAdNG CARD PRIZES may be picked up from the library, through out the summer, beginning June 18th. As you fill up your ‘20 minute per day, or more,’ TWO WEEK READING CARDS, give them to the librarian and you will receive the prize of the week. GRAND PRIZES and the 5 PRIZE BAGS, from the final Card Drawing , will be available anytime after August 14, from the librarian, as well. Only cards received at the library, by August 9th will be eligible for the drawing. (see also the “Summer Reading” Main category} Don’t forget to check this Website for winners after August 14th.
