Library Re-opens June 9th!
WELCOME to the Mendon Cottage Library, located in a cottage on main street, where we checked out our first book in October of 2005.

Library Re-Opens
Thanks to a lot of hard work by many Mendon-area citizens, the Mendon Cottage Library (MCL) will reopen on June 9, 2009. To save money, we have enlisted a team of volunteer-librarians to staff the library. Please thank them by visiting the library often.
Current Need
The MCL Board has trimmed its operating budget to about $10,000 for the year. The City Council is generously providing $7,000, but we need $3,000 more to stay open. Several FUNdraisers are planned (the first one: the Pioneer Day auction). Please come out and support them. Also, we will gladly accept any monetary donation. In fact, it will make our day.

Summer Story Time and Reader’s Theatre
Wed. June 10, 10-12 pm
Open house/party for children and caregivers. Come learn about our new Reader’s Theatre.
Activiites will be every other Wednesday at 10 and 11 am.

Summer Reading Program
Writing class-You can write your life story- June 24 @7 pm, Mendon Station
